Soft Roaders Trail Leader Workshop

Join Pitts 4x4 CO. at Northwest OHV Park in Bridgeport, Texas to learn more about off-road recovery. This class will build upon what was taught in our Off-Road Recovery 101 Workshop. To get the most out of this class, it is recommended you already have a basic understanding of off-road recovery. Please see vehicle requirements below. This is approximately a 4 hour course of classroom & in-field instruction. Feel free to wheel at the park once we are done.

Vehicle Requirements for Off-Road Recovery 201: - 4WD w/ Lo Range - 31"+ Tires - at least an all-terrain tread - NO low profile tires - front and rear recovery points - moderate protection (underbody protection is recommended).

***Please Note: Tickets are designated as "Driver" & "Passenger" - This does not mean you have to remain the driver or passenger in training scenarios - you may switch it up. Also, some of our workshops have little to no "driving" involved in the course. These terms are for labeling purposes only and help us keep track of how many vehicles are attending our workshops. DO NOT purchase a passenger ticket without also purchasing a driver ticket. The discounted passenger rate is only available to those riding with a paid driver. Due to the nature of our trainings, non-paying passengers or observers are not allowed. Thank you for understanding!

Please bring a pair of gloves (no wrist straps please!), closed-toe shoes/mud boots, chair, note-taking material, water, & snacks or lunch if you wish. We will break for a quick lunch at the park.

Our workshops are geared towards educating adults. While we do encourage parents to bring age-appropriate children who are interested in learning about off-road topics, please do not bring kiddos who are not participating in the class. Please keep in mind that all workshop attendees are required to pay.
